My sketchbook pages are data. Subjects are observed from life. They are people I have encountered while existing in my small corner of the world. Their stories are their own. Some of the stories I know, some I don't. The conditions of their lives are shaped by a shared social history: tenuous threads reaching back to small town, state, and national policies. 250 years into the "American Experiment" and it's time for a long-term follow-up. This is my submission of data into the archive.
